Privacy and Other Policies  


Sandi values her own privacy and respects yours. Sandi uses PayPal for a number of reasons, security being the most important. They take security measures in the Add to Cart and View Cart buttons you see on this site.. When you check out to pay for your purchases you are taken from this site to the PayPal site. It is secure. You can pay with credit cards or a PayPal account if you have one. The transaction will be secure. After the transaction is complete you will be returned to Design by Sandi. Sandi does not have or keep credit card information on her site.

Sandi's personal computer used to maintain her web site, access PayPal, and all the other needs associated with her business has firewalls and a reputable antivirus program with routine scans.

All personal information, including name, address, e-mail address and phone number collected prior to or with an order, will only be used to clarify and fill your order. It will not be sold or given to other parties. Sandi may contact you by email after a sale to determine your satisfaction with her jewelry. 

Sandi will only contact you by phone if she needs to clarify details of an order or quote, or when the order is time sensitive. She prefers and routinely uses email for contact before and after sales.

In stock items ship within 3 business days, usually less.  All items are sent by U.S. Postal Service, first class mail with delivery confirmation from Central Florida. Expected delivery time is 3-5 business days. Shipping is a nominal $5 on orders up to $25. Standard shipping is free on all orders over $25! Orders are not accepted or shipped to locations outside the United States.  No P O Boxes please.


Design by Sandi accepts credit cards and PayPal. Payment occurs on the secure PayPal site. If you wish to pay by another means, please contact Sandi. Shipment will be delayed with other forms of payment.

Sales Tax:

Orders shipped to Florida require 6.5% sales tax.

Prior Sale:

Almost everything you see is "one of a kind" or very nearly so. Sandi does everything she can to only display items for sale that are currently in stock. When an item is sold from this site, it is not possible for anyone else to buy it. Sometimes an item can be sold elsewhere. The item will show in stock until the web site can be changed (the buttons will work and allow you to "buy" when the item has already been sold). 

All items are subject to prior sale. If this happens, you will be contacted  by email and your payment will be promptly refunded with Sandi's apologies. Sandi does display some items that are not available for sale simply to show you the colors in a finished piece of jewelry. These do not have prices or "add to cart" buttons.

Returns of In Stock Items and Quick Custom Orders:

Sandi wants you to be happy with your new jewelry. If you aren't, please contact her within 3 days of receipt. She will provide a RMA. Put that with your contact information with the piece and mail it back. Sandi does not cover return postage. Your purchase price will be refunded when the item is received. She cannot accept returns if you don't contact her first. She can't accept damaged items for return.

Returns of Custom Orders:

Custom orders have a 50% non-refundable deposit. Other than that, returns of custom orders are handled the same as stock items. Contact Sandi within 3 days of receipt, get a RMA, put it and your name and address inside with the jewelry, send it back. Your payment will be refunded minus the 50% deposit.

Cancellation of Orders:

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Sandi immediately. Once an order ships she can't cancel it. It will have to be returned as above.

Cancellation of Custom Orders:

If you have to cancel a Custom Order, please contact Sandi immediately. Once she orders materials she can't refund the 50% deposit!


When you sell to friends, you do right by them. So if you buy something from Sandi and it breaks with normal use within 1 year of the date of purchase, she will repair it without charge. Find all the pieces. Contact Sandi and explain the problem. Send her the pieces. Sandi does not cover return postage. Missing pieces will be replaced with stock materials and that does change the appearance of the jewelry! Pieces that cannot be repaired (unique beads, crystal no longer in stock and similar problems) will not be replaced. Sandi will be the sole person to determine feasibility of repair. Accidents or abuse are not covered. 

Gold or silver plated materials are subject to tarnish especially with chemical exposure. The thin layer of plate can wear off with time or aggressive cleaning. Gold or silver plated materials are not covered under warranty against tarnish or wear through. Sterling Silver and Gold filled materials are covered.

Please keep your jewelry in a safe place and take care of it. Sandi has no other warranty and makes no other promises or guarantees, including suitability of use guarantees.

Warning: Sandi does not sell toys. Her jewelry is not for infants or small children. Jewelry can break, especially wired pieces repeatedly bent back and forth. Broken wire can scratch and cut. Loose beads can be a choke hazard for infants and small children! Do not allow infants or small children to play with jewelry at any time!

Typographical Errors:

Sandi can not assume responsibility for typographical errors.

Repairs out of warranty:

If a piece breaks, save all the pieces. Contact Sandi and explain the problem. Attach a photo of what you have to the e-mail if possible. It may not be possible to replace unique beads, etc. It may be necessary to replace missing items with standard materials and change design somewhat to integrate the new materials. If too many pieces are missing, it may simply not be possible to repair the piece. If Sandi's  estimate is acceptable, return all pieces for repair.  Sandi can only repair items she made.
